ABOUT THE SHOW:
Welcome to the 11th century! Just beyond the great doors of the Hall of Arms waits the celebration arena, the heart of the Medieval Times castle. From high above, King Philippe and his daughter-in-law, Princess Leonore, preside over a four-course feast. Below, privileged royal guests (you) are transported to faraway lands including a romantic snowy rendezvous in the woods and an authentic Medieval tournament -- with the help of Hollywood-caliber special effects, of course. Medieval Times is celebrating its 25-year reign in North America. Founders first launched their unique idea for an 11th century-style dinner attraction on the Spanish island of Majorca in 1973. This imaginative new entertainment was inspired by the true medieval tradition of royal families inviting guests to a festival and feast to watch knights compete on horseback. The Kissimmee Castle's towering white walls -- set off by a moat and drawbridge -- have a commanding presence over the Orlando landscape. This location offers more than a glimpse into the life of medieval royalty. In addition to the medieval jousting tournament and royal feast, the Kissimmee Castle also features an authentic eight-cottage medieval village.

HOW LONG DOES THE SHOW LAST?
Expect almost two hours of jousting, swordsmanship, thrilling hand-to-hand combat, displays of extraordinary horsemanship and falconry as part of an exciting yet touching story set in Medieval Spain.

DO I NEED TO MAKE A RESERVATION?
Reservations are strongly recommended but not required.

THE FEAST:
Medieval Times' noble guests feast on garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, spare rib, herb-basted potatoes, pastry of the Castle, coffee and two rounds of select beverages. A full-service bar is also available for adult guests. Vegetarian meals are available upon request. The vegetarian meal includes tomato bisque soup, garlic bread, large Portobello mushroom cap stuffed with whole grain, rice and bean blend, large skewer of roasted vegetables, hummus with pita chips, pastry of the castle and two rounds of select beverages. (Please advise your server of special meal requests once you are seated at your table.) Menu subject to change.

IS IT TRUE WE MUST EAT WITH OUR HANDS?
Absolutely! Eating utensils were not used in the 11th century and Medieval Times will take you back!
